For over 2 years Tim and Whitton have been teaching and growing the LA Blues Scene one week at a time in Sherman Oaks, CA. At the end of October they are closing their doors. Although we are sad to see our Wednesday night venue leave us we can’t help but smile when we think about Blues Kitchen. We’ll remember the excellent instruction, the humor and sincerity in which the classes were taught. My fondest memories are hanging out with friends working on BlueListLA.com, dancing durning practica and heading over to our late night hangout, Crave Coffee House.
If you have not had the chance to go out there lately, you have TWO MORE WEEKS!
And don’t be too sad! This can only open up more opportunities for blues moving forward! Tim and Whitton are still well and kicking in the blues scene. So hit ‘em up for private lessons and ask them to dance at DSB and BLF!

Blues isn’t about what you do; it’s about how you do it. Using the Blues posture from the last class we can incorporate moves from Salsa, Charleston, and Lindy to show how anything you already know can be used in the Blues. Get ready to expand your vocabulary and give your old moves some soul.
