the Juke Returns to 2nd Fridays!!

Back to Our Beloved 2nd Fridays!  Raffle Drawing to Celebrate!!!

H-E-L-L-O Bluuuuuuues Luveerrrss,

‘Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Join us down the rabbit hole this month of hares, at the Juke, where we take a glimpse into the looking glass.

When logic and proportion have fallen sloppy dead,

and the White Knight is talking backwards,

and the Red Queen’s “Off with her head!”

Remember what the dormouse said; “Feed you head” with the lesson and Muse hour.

Kristin “The Duchess” Buxton will be playing a Beautiful Soup of good ole’ blues.

The host of this tea party, Shawn “Mad Hatter” Coyle spins an un-set where you Cheshire Cats can choose to grin from the ceiling or take to the floor for a tune with the Tweedle Brothers.

No matter which side of the mushroom you chomped on this morn’, it’s a wonderland…at the Juke. (Just don’t wake the Red King!)

Come and Enter a FREE Raffle Drawing!

Here’s the lineup for the Juke on Friday:

Who (for March 12th):
Deejays are Kristin Buxton & Shawn “Mad Hatter” Coyle

What:
**WE HAVE BLUES LESSONS!**

Your host will be teaching at the JUKE! That’s right, Shawn D. Coyle and the lovely Suzy Ackerman will be teaching the drop-in lesson/Muse hybrid hour.

Lessons begin promptly at 9pm!

We highly recommend and encourage everyone to take advantage of the opportunity to play, learn and practice your blues! Invite your friends, have a great time and build our community!

We start off the first hour of The Juke with our Blues Muse. Here you have the opportunity to get personal feedback from one of our Advisers, the Muses. You are encouraged to dance with them in this open, social hour. Music will be playing, however it will not be deejayed. If you’re new to the dance, don’t worry! We’ll get the basics covered with you before the dance begins.

“Blues dancing is a free-form communication between two people that is enhanced by music.” This is your chance to expand your vocabulary and work on pronunciation!
