Now onto the Main Course
Last Week:
In the intermediate class, we worked on maintaining and controlling momentum while blues dancing. Learning how to influence your partner’s momentum and use it perform exciting new moves. In the beginner class we worked with 4 dynamics to bring more contrast and intensity to our dancing.

Intermediate Class:
Leaving the Ground
Contemporary Blues moves use partner leverage to create lift. The focus is on how to leave the ground and still keep your dancing grounded and controlled. Dynamic movement and precise technique make these moves a lot of fun to learn and practice. Learn to use the floor and your own center to create movements that will take you right off the ground and into the great Blues beyond!

Beginner Class:
Leading and Following Essentials Kit
This class focuses on the unique connection that makes Blues possible. Learn the most fundamental movements and rhythms of Blues, and more importantly, learn how to share them with your partner! Expect to play a lot of games and meet some new people.
