As you may have heard, Shawn is moving The Juke to Nadia’s Rhythm Room in Sherman Oaks starting this month. (Yes, it’s the same location as Blues Kitchen) And instead of the second Friday of the month you can leisurely make your way out on a the SECOND SATURDAY of the month!
So come out and celebrate the Grand Re-Opening! Saturday, October 10, 2009!
**BLUES LESSONS!** LA’s national blues dance instructor, TIM O’NEILL from the BLUES KITCHEN will be teaching a beginners lesson! We highly recommend and encourage everyone to take advantage of the opportunity to play, learn and practice your blues! Tim just returned from NYC where he placed 3rd in the Open Invitational Blues Competition! Congrats Tim! (Video to post soon – it was great!!)
Invite your friends, have a great time and build our growing community! And don’t worry, for those of you who also enjoy the “muse” aspect of the evening, there will be muse time after the class!
“Blues dancing is a free-form communication between two people that is enhanced by music.” This is your chance to expand your vocabulary and work on pronunciation!”
